What I do
Where I usually start
A two-week look under the hood
I sit with your team, map how work actually moves, and hand you a short list of what to fix first, in order.
Cleaning up or moving your CRM
Donor database, HubSpot or Monday. Duplicates gone, fields that mean something, and a pipeline your people will actually use. I've moved about 10,000 messy records into one system before.
A day a week of senior operations help
For the stretch when you need someone experienced in the room but can't justify a full-time hire.
Back-office routines that run themselves
The weekly status report, the morning summary, the records check. Set up once, written down, and owned by your team.
Where I've done it
The short version
Tandem Industries
Founder · 2026–now
I run my own operations practice now. My back office runs on the same kind of systems I build for clients: a daily brief, project status, a financial check and a records audit that show up on schedule without anyone chasing them.
Vox Church
Elder since 2013 · On staff 2017–2025
I've been an elder at Vox since 2013, the first and longest-serving. On staff I ran operations, covering finance, data, IT and buildings, across eight campuses while the church grew to 3,000 people a week, and brought in Sage Intacct for the accounting.
Then I moved into major gifts. I put our top 200 donors on a proper CRM and led an $18.68M capital campaign straight through COVID.
Knocking
Head of Operations · 2025–2026
I ran operations for a broadcast sales division: 28 people across nine departments. Deal volume grew 42% year over year, deals went from created to confirmed in a median of nine days, and I led the move from HubSpot to Monday that pulled about 10,000 records into one place.
Premier Festivals
Production Manager · 2010–2017
Before all of that, I produced live music festivals. Ninety-four of them, start to finish.
How I work
A fixed price and a clear finish line
You'll know what you're paying for and when it's finished. Everything I build gets written down, so it keeps working after I've gone. I'm based in Connecticut and work with teams anywhere in the US.
